[레딧] ini 변경 관련 추가 입장

We heard you. The community wants to be able to discuss optimization for PUBG with a focus on how to maximize the games performance by editing the .ini file.
We will allow you to post your ini edits.

However - we have setup Automod to remove any edits that include the removal of foliage/shadows. We are currently assembling a list of ini edits that are considered cheating and would result in a ban. This list is mainly the commands to remove any features that would give the user an unfair advantage. Ini edits moving forward should solely focus on performance improvements.

So how did we get to this?
First and foremost, we do not condone cheating. We held the position of removing ini edits because of the communication we received from Bluehole. We do not want you the community to get banned for something you have come across on this subreddit. At all times, our main focus was to protect the subreddit and it's subscribers from being unfairly banned due to actions committed on advice received on this subreddit.

Moving forward
- INI Edits are allowed - as long as they are only for performance purposes. (See below)
- Automod will filter/remove posts that include edits considered to be cheating
- Automod will also be posting a disclaimer, making it known that editing the ini might result in a ban under the current language in the Rules of Conduct.

Here are a few edit examples of what is considered cheating:
- Removing any in-game assets , eg. Grass, trees, rocks, buildings etc.
- Removing any effects that result in giving the user a visual advantage in terms of in-game elements/assets, eg. Removing shadows

We will not be removing .ini threads which include the following edits:
- Removing Post Processing, including Depth of field, motion blur
- Graphical tweaks, eg. Sharpening

The mod team and I are always happy to receive feedback, and will take your wishes into consideration as we continue to help the PUBG community (you) grow and share.

- ini 파일을 변경함으로써 배그를 최적사양에서 즐기고 싶어하는 커뮤니티의 의견 잘 들었고, 이에 ini 파일 변경 관련 포스트에 이의를 제기하지 않기로 함
- 그러나, 풀의 양 및 그림자를 제거하는 변경은 오토모드로 인해 금지될 것. 현재 해킹으로 간주되고 밴을 당할 수 있는 ini 변경 목록을 작성 중. 이 목록은 유저에게 불공정한 이익을 줄 수 있는 특징들을 제거하는 걸 주 목적으로 함. ini 변경은 그러므로 게임 퍼포먼스 향상을 위해서만 사용되어야 함.

- 무엇보다 해킹은 절대 용납하지 않음. 블루홀과의 대화를 통해 여태까지 우리는 ini 변경 관련 글을 지우는 일을 해왔음. 커뮤니티가 이 섭레딧에 뭔가를 올리고 밴 당하는 일을 원하지 않으며, 언제나 우리의 주된 목적은 섭레딧과 구독자들을 특정 어드바이스를 통한 행동으로 인해 부당하게 밴 당하는 것으로부터 보호하는 것

　ㄴ 해킹으로 인지되는 변경 관련 포스트는 오토모드에 의해 거르거나 삭제될 것
　ㄴ 현재 행위규칙으로 인해 ini 변경이 밴당할 사유가 될 가능성이 있다는 경고문 또한 오토모드를 통해 올릴 것

다음은 해킹으로 인지될 수 있는 변경 예시들:
　ㄴ 게임 내 에셋 제거 (예. 풀, 나무, 바위, 건물 등)
　ㄴ 특정 효과를 제거해서 게임 내 요소와 관련된 시각적 이익을 유저에게 제공할 만한 행위 (예. 그림자 제거)

다음 ini 변경사항을 포함하는 쓰레드는 삭제되지 않을 것:
　ㄴ 피사계심도 및 모션 블러 등을 포함한 후처리 제거
　ㄴ 그래픽 변경 (예. 샤프닝)

- 우리 모드팀은 언제나 피드백을 받는 것을 환영하며, 유저들 요구사항을 고려하여 배그 커뮤니티가 성장하고 나눌 수 있도록 지속적으로 도울 것
- 절대 ini 변경이 무조건적으로 괜찮다고 혼동하지 말아줄 것. 여전히 밴 당할 수 있음

　- 입장 변경해줘서 고마워, 이게 더 말이 맞고 뉘앙스도 있네. 만약 블루홀이 이거에 대해 어떻게 할지 결정하고 ini 변경이 밴 당하는 사유가 될거라고 확실하게 말한다면, 이 글 다시 보는게 좋을듯. 그치만 그때까지는 우리가 적어도 계속 바뀌라고 얘네들한테 압박을 줄 수는 있어. 블루홀 커뮤니케이션 정책은 진짜 형편없고, 너(섭레딧 관리자)가 이런 일을 겪어야 해서 안타깝게 생각한다

　- 너네들 관리자가 우리랑 함께 해서 정말 기쁘고 그 애매모호한 텍스트를 명확히 하는데 얼마나 힘들었을지 이해함. 안개맵에서 플레이하는 느낌이었을거임. 이건 완벽하게 블루홀 잘못임.

　　ㄴ 아직 모든게 다 명확해진 건 아니고, 이게 문제임. 어떠한 ini 변경일지라도 여전히 밴 당할 사유가 됨. 우린 그저 유저가 여전히 밴 당할 수 있다는 전제 하에 이 섭레딧에 퍼포먼스 중심 변경을 올리는 것만 허용하는 것.

　　　ㄴ내 말은, 블루홀이 원하면 누구나 밴할 수 있는 권한이 있지 않아? 게임 내 이름이 마음에 안들어도 밴할 수 있을 거야 ㅋㅋ 행위규정에서 지장을 줄 수 있다(Disruptive)라는 말은 명확하지가 않고 자기들이 어떻게 결정하느냐에 따라 해석될 수 있어.
