IPL is excited to announce the weekly Killing Spree Series starting January 12th, 2012! Every Thursday at 5PM Pacific, two teams will battle it out in a 5v5, best of three match on Summoner’s Rift.
Weekly prizes will start at $300 USD, with bonus prizes for teams that go on a Killing Spree; winning three or more weeks in a row. Additional bounties will be given to teams that end the other team’s Killing Spree.
The team that goes on a Killing Spree will earn a bounty on them. This bounty increases by $100 each week they continue their Killing Spree. The team that ends this spree will then earn not only the $300 weekly prize, but the total bounty that the team amounted.
The Killing Spree Series will begin with top North American teams and will eventually open to the public.
* IPL은 2012년 1월 12일부로 매주마다 IPL Killing Spree를 진행하기로 결정했음. 한국시각으로 금요일 오전 9시에 소환사의 협곡에서 두 팀이 3판 2승제의 5v5 대결. 매주 상금은 300 미국달러에서 시작해서 3주 이상 연속승리를 할 경우 보너스상금이 포함됨. 다른 팀의 연승을 끊는 팀에겐 추가 현상금이 주어짐. 킬링스프리에 진출한 팀은 현상금을 받으며 그들의 'killing spree(LOL에서 연속 3킬 이상시 나오는 대사)'를 유지하는 한 현상금이 매주 100불씩 올라감. 이 연승을 끊는 팀은 그 주의 승리상금 300불에다가, 추가 현상금까지 같이 받음.
* 현재 Mono eSports가 7주차 승리로 1주 연속 챔피언.
* 기존의 챔피언이던 TSM은 IEM 하노버 일정으로 Retire 한 것으로 보임.

Alienware Arena’s League of Legend’s Battlegrounds program is a League of Legends ladder that will end each season with a 32 team tournament for €1,750 in prize money. Registration is open to all teams until April 1st where teams compete with one another to earn a spot amongst the Top 32 where they will then be invited to attend the Spring Season Invitational Tournament where teams will compete for a chance of a prize pool totaling €1,750.
* Alienware Arena’s League of Legend’s Battleground(길다;;)는 시즌마다 32팀이 참가하는 래더 토너먼트로, 매시즌 상금 1750유로가 걸려있음. 참가신청은 4월 1일까지 모든 팀이 가능하며, 이후 경합을 거쳐 4월 21일부터 진행될 Spring Season Invitational Tournament에 올라갈 32명을 뽑는 예선전이 진행중.
