     He should try to come to NA. He's gotten good enough at easy mode winning worlds from korea with other korean players/infrastructure. It's time to try expert mode.

* 내기억에 올해 초에 페이커는 작년 롤드컵 이후에 은퇴생각한다고 했던 것 같은데 결국 그러지 않기로 한 모양이네

 ㄴ 솔직히 정말 좋은 위치에 있다고 생각함. 롤에서뿐만 아니라 역사상 최고의 프로게이머라 불릴 법한데다가, 21살에 벌써 은퇴를 생각할 정도로 많은 걸 쌓아 왔고 또 앞으로도 원하는 만큼 세계 최고로 군림할 수 있잖아.

     그래도 난 페이커가 게임 씬을 완전히 떠나진 않았음 좋겠다. 만약에 롤판을 떠난다고 해도 다른 이스포츠종목에 도전하려고 그러는것이길 바람. 난 페이커가 플레이하는 걸 계속해서 보고 싶거든.

     Nice position to be in tbh. The all time greatest at not only the game you play but possibly the greatest pro gamer ever, made enough to retire at 21 and can still be the best in the world for as long as he wants. I really don't want to see him leave gaming though. If he does leave League I hope it's to try for another Esport just so I can keep watching this guy play

* 이건 반박불가다, 페이커는 근본적으로 슈퍼스타임. 한국에서만이 아니라 이스포츠쪽에 관련 있는 모두가 페이커 이름은 들어 봤을걸.

  Hard to argue with that, he's basically a supertstar. Not just in Korea, probably everyone who is in touch with E-sports know his name.

 

 ㄴ 그렇게 말은 하지만 매년 롤드컵 전엔 똑같은 스토리로 흘러가지않음?

 ㄴ 맞아 중국에도 페이커 팬들 엄청 많음. 올해 롤드컵은 중국에서 열리지만 여전히 어엄청 많은 팬들이 이 전설적인 선수를 응원하고 있음. 페이커는 롤의 신이야 ㅋㅋㅋ

* 이거 번역이 좀.. 페이커가 실제로 한국어로 말한 것보다 덜 공손하게 들리네. 매번 페이커가 한국어로 인터뷰한거 볼 때마다 난 페이커가 엄청나게 공손하고 또 겸손하단걸 느낌. 아직 어린데도 진짜 너무 겸손해. 여가시간 나면 항상 책 들고다니면서 읽고. 페이커는 게임에서 자기 재능을 발견한 것 뿐, 여전히 독서도 많이 하고 생각이 참 깊어. 페이커는 그냥 미성숙한 겜 중독자가 아님.

  The translation sounds less polite than what he actually said in Korean. Everytime I watch his interview in Korean, I see he is extremely polite and humble. He is just a kid but very humble. He always brings a book and read it during all his free time. He was just happened to find his talent in gaming, but he still read a lot of books and his thought is pretty deep. He is not a game-addicted immature kid.

 

 ㄴ 그게 페이커가 지금 한국 이스포츠의 간판인 이유이자 자기 커리어를 더 발전시키려는 이유이기도 하겠지. 페이커는 진짜 최고의 대표자임

     that's because he's the face of esports right now in KR and want to elevate the profesion. He truly is the best embassador we could have ever have

 

 ㄴ 그리고 페이커는 인터뷰 질문들에 진짜 프로답게 답변함. 솔직히 이스포츠 간판으로 페이커 말고는 떠올리지도 못하겠다

     He also answers interview questions really professionally, honestly dont think anyone else is better for the face of esports

 

 ㄴ 완전 공감함. 난 2013년부터 스크 팬이었는데 스크 볼 때마다 페이커 때문에 진짜 매번 감명받음. 아직 어린데도 자만하거나 하지도 않고, 인터뷰할 때마다 넘 겸손해. 자기가 아무리 잘해도 다른 누군가를 깔보거나 하지도 않지. 신인이건 프로생활 오래 하던 선수건, 페이커의 재능이나 피지컬같은것만 동경할 게 아니라 페이커의 태도도 본받을 필요가 있다고 생각함. 게임 내적으로도 외적으로도 페이커는 우상이야.

  I truly agree with you. Ive been an SKT fan since 2013 and I must say that the whole time Ive been watching them Im truly amazed with Faker. Hes just a kid but hes never been proud. Every time people interview him, hes really humble. No matter how good he is in league hes never looked down on others. I think new and old players should not only look up to Faker because of his talent and mechanical skills, people should also value his attitude. He is an idol in and out of the game.

* 진짜 한국말로 들어보면 느낌이 확 다름. 페이커 영상 인터뷰도 그래, 페이커는 말할때 자주 ‘어...’하는 경향이 있는데 좋은 답변을 하려고 심사숙고하기 때문임. 번역 때문에 느낌이 제대로 안 사는데 페이커는 진짜 예의바르고 상냥하고 이따금 좀 어색해보이기도 함. 진짜 내가 이런 사람의 팬이 될 수 있다는게, 그리고 이런 팀의 팬이 될 수 있다는게 너무 행복함. 되게 편향된 말이지만 암튼 이게 내 솔직한 심정이야.

  Late to the party but it just sounds really different when you hear it in Korean. In Faker's video interviews too, he tends to say uh... a lot mostly because he's thinking of a good answer. Translations really don't do him justice, he's so polite and kind, and also seems very awkward at times. I'm so glad I can be a fan of a person like this, and a team like this. Very biased, but just honestly speaking.

  Those are pretty deep books. I didn't expect that out of him... or any pro-gamer, really. I would've said they read escapism fiction more than anything else.
