[토론] 심즈 확팩 구입에 대한 여러분의 의견은?

Why are people obsessed with being ripped off? The Sims never "Turned" into this huge scam you so long to find? The original sims had 7 expansions, because they thought of new stuff to add and at the time we though "Wow this is great, a company that actually strives to add new features when they come up with them!". The sims 2 had 8 expansions and we reacted the same way. Now The Sims 3 has 7 (including the as of yet unreleased Supernatural) each of which add extra features they have thought of and new ways to play. Yet instead of being happy that we are getting this extra stuff in the current game rather than having to wait for the next, and negating the fact that it currently has added more features in less expansions than sims 2. We moan, and moan and moan and moan. People need to step off of their soap boxes, chill the F*** out and enjoy the fact that The Sims is amazing and the company is constantly trying and releasing new ways to keep it fresh, updated and exciting. Man you guys are self centred and selfish! Just think everything is a slight against you personally and a another "scheme". and don't bitch about it being expensive, I'm from what you'd call a "poor family" of the western world and I can afford them!

왜 사람들은 모두 바가지를 쓴다고 난리를 치는거지? 심즈는 엄청난 사기꾼이 절대 아니라는 것을 아는데 너무 오래걸리는거 아닌가? 심즈 오리지날은 7개의 확장팩을 가지고 있어, 왜냐하면 EA가 자신들의 게임에 새 아이템을 넣어야 겠다고 생각할테니까. 그때마다 우리는 이렇게 생각했지 "우와 얘네들이 새로운 확장팩을 만들어낼때마다 엄청난 것들이 추가되는데?" 심즈 2는 8개의 확장팩을 가지고 있고 우리는 모두 심즈 오리지날때와 같게 행동했지. 그리고 이번 심즈 3는 7개의 확장팩을 가지고 있으며 각각의 확장팩은 전혀 달은 기능들을 가지고 있어. 그리고 기뻐하기 전에 알아둬, 우리는 새로운 기능들을 일일히 다른 후속작들을 기다리지 않고 확장팩을 통해 받을 수 있으며, 현재 심즈 2보다 적은 확장팩으로 더 많은 기능들을 추가해왔어. 우리는 징징대고 징징대고 또 징징대고 계속 그러지. 너네는 이제 그만 정신차리고 징징대지마 그리고 심즈는 엄청난 게임이고 회사는 항상 새로운 것들을 만들어 내기 위해 노력하고 있다는 것에 대해 즐겁게 생각해. 와 니네는 진짜 자기중심적이고 이기적이다! 니네들은 뭐가 조금만 니네한테 해가 되면 안좋게 판단하지. 제발 좀 확장팩이 비싸다고 지랄하지마, 나는 니네가 말하는 서구의 거지 가족안에서 살면서도 다 살 수 있다!

Hah and people said that Activision scams you with COD. The Sims is more of a scam than any franchise i can think of. You get the main game ($50-$60), then a stuff pack that adds pets ($20-$40), then you get a career pack ($20-$40), then you get a island pack ($20-$40). In the end you end up spending almost 3x as much as the initial game cost. If they're gonna make these extra "stuff" packs that add stuff on, at least make it significant and worthwhile, like an entirely new city to go to with all new things in it. Then the stuff packs would actually be worth the $20-$40, not some piece of crap pets pack that gives you a bunch of animals.

사람들은 엑티비젼이 니네를 두고 콜오브듀티로 사기치고 있다고 생각하지. 심즈는 그 어떠한 시리즈들보다 더한 사기꾼이라 생각하는데. 니네는 베이스 게임을 50달러정도에 구매하고 그다음에 아이템팩과 팻들을 추가하는데 또 20달러정도를 내지. 그 다음엔 직업 팩을 20달러에 사고 그 다음에는 섬 확장팩을 20달러에 구매하지. 결국 이렇게 되면 너희는 베이스 게임의 3배의 돈을 들이는거야. 그들이 만약 아이템들먼 더하려고 한다면 차라리 가치있게 새로운 기능을 가진 도시 하나를 넣어서 팔지 그러냐. 그러면 그때가서야 아이템팩이 20달러의 가치를 하겠지, 동물들만 무식하게 끼워주는 쓰레기 확장팩 말고.
